3) qhs1 is the username
4) Use password you are given in class
5) Click "Yearbook"
6) Click "Open Yearbook in English"
7) If it doesn't work, click "Retour au tableau de bord"....
8.1) Enable POP-ups (if you can, but if not, go to 8.2) and

17th CLASS - 2010 YEAR BOOK COVER CONTEST & TERM 2 PORTFOLIO
Today:
1) We discussed how a poll will be taken of all students/staff planning on buying an album this week. That number will help us decide on the contract to sign with our publisher.
2) We created a new Sec. 5 Media Team thanks to one of your ideas!
3) Again, thanks to one of your ideas, it was voted that we would hold a QHS Year Book Cover Contest open to all QHS students.
4) You worked by yourself and on your Media Teams planning dates, getting your end of term portfolio ready, creating your own submissions for the above contest, and looking through the different year book examples.
NEXT CLASS JANUARY 27 (DAY 9):
1) YOUR PORTFOLIO OF ALL INDIVIDUAL PICTURES TAKEN THIS YEAR FOR THE CLASS IS DUE ON A USB ONLY PLEASE.

16th CLASS - LAURENTIEN PUBLISHING PRESENTATION
Tuesday, January 12, 2010:
1) We reviewed what pictures the Media Teams have been taking.
2) We discussed different ways to motivate all QHS students to buy a yearbook (or 1 book/family) and different packages we could offer.
3) We went to the VCN Room and participated in a workshop by M. Patrice from Laurentien.
Many examples of yearbooks were shown. Thanks M. Patrice for coming to QHS!
For next class on Tuesday, January 19 (Day 4):

4TH CLASS - CODE OF ETHICS AND FOTOFLEXER ASSIGNMENT

1) You received your camera parts test evaluation. It needs to be signed by your parent/guardian.
2) We kudosed photographers on an excellent job with the Newcomer's Breakfast and Terry Fox Run!
2) We discussed and you signed the Code of Ethics all photographers in this course will be following.
3) You started working on your assignment using FotoFlexer.
If you missed class: See me for your test, code of ethics sheet to go over and put your autograph on, and your assignment due next class.
Next class Tuesday, October 6 (Day 4): Your assignments are due at the beginning. Reminder, the assignment was changed to 5 photos since you have around a week to complete it. Do not limit yourselves to 5 photos if you want to edit more,though. Assignments must be on USB keys.

1ST CLASS - COURSE INTRODUCTION
Today we: Discussed the course and our entrepreneurial project of creating the QHS Year Book this 2009-2010 School Year. You had the opportunity to see several past yearbooks to get an idea of what has been done before. Thanks for the info. about yourselves when we played the Something You May Not Know About Me Is game. I am confident that you all will bring something outstanding to the project.
Next class Monday, September 14 (Day 9): You will be introduced to the Photography Lab. Thanks to the alumni grant of $1,000 we received last year, we are more able to meet your needs this year. I trust you will have your agendas, course outlines signed, and course materials when I check at the beginning of class. If you are having challenges getting the materials needed, see me ASAP this week.
I hope you have a relaxing long weekend and enjoy Monday off! Try to take some pictures of the hot weather before all the changes in colours start to appear.
